| what, do you think the whole premise of making an alternative ECU was to make it unsafe by running it leaner?? Or was it that the JWT is possibly TOO rich? I seem to recall it being the latter. Look, you could run an incredibly rich a/f, pouring black smoke out of the exhaust, and by your (too broad^^^) defintion, it would be safer (and, clearly, better) than JWT. What I'm driving at is that at some point there is going to be an unnecessary level of richness if you go by the richer=safer guideline. People have different opinions about where that is, but it's hard to refute that either have a reasonable margin of safety built in. I have yet to read about an engine running lean and destructing b/c of Ash's ECU. Maybe it has, but I'm also pretty sure people have run lean on JWT ECU's, enough so that it comes down to the cars state of tune (and driver error/stupidity) and not the ECU. Stock is actually 'safest', by the way. -Rob
